2010 Gauley BADDLUN results

The 2nd Annual Gauley BADDLUN is in the books. Great weather and improved road conditions didn't prevent early leader Jay Ditty from flatting twice, clearing the way for Brian Menzies to notch his first BADDLUN victory. The 3rd segment hike up and out on the Panther Mtn trail once again proved to be a killer. Thanks to all that participated and thanks to John Albright for taking the time to keep time.

Upper Gauley BADDLUN 2009 results...

Six racers showed up to brave gravel roads, gillions of rafts and a steep grovel to complete the inaugural Upper Gauley BADDLUN.

What lessons did we learn this weekend? Choice of equipment, bike and kayak, was key.

Big up's to Jess, Matt and Brandon for strong showings in their first BADDLUN comp.

Captain Thurmond's Challenge winner Brian Menzies learned the hard way that speeding into a pillow can lead to serious downtime...big up's for picking up the pieces and finishing strong.

And last but not least...big up's to Clay for...umm...finishing. Lace dem shoes up tight next time son!

Results:

1 - Brian Mattingly 2:10
2 - Jess Albright 2:15
3 - Brian Menzies 2:22
4 - Matt Rudolph 2:25
5 - Brandon Reynolds 2:31
